Sri Lanka

221. Gull-billed Tern (Gelochelidon nilotica)
This one seems to be a non-breeding male.

222. Yellow-wattled Lapwing (Vanellus malabaricus)
While I had captured its cousin the Red-wattled Lapwing multiple times, this one had evaded me so far.

Unfortunately in this pic, the feature that gives this bird its name is not visible.

  1. Have you logged 'The White Bellied Sea Eagle'? If not, head to Grande Island in Goa> Climb up to the Lighthouse> look east ward for a nest in the trees. Also, what book are you refering for the numbering of these birds?
