Pudu aaru

One of the joys of living in Thanjavur is that I can count at least 3 dozen bird species from my office terrace. Here are a few shot at office and around my town.

189. Yellow-billed Babbler (Turdoides affinis)
These noisy little birds sometimes make it impossible to hear each other at work.

190. Pied Kingfisher (Ceryle rudis)
Caught this guy hovering over some last remaining puddles in the Puduaaru canal that passes through Thanjavur.

191. Ashy Woodswallow (Artamus fuscus)
