90. Short-toed Eagle (Circaetus gallicus)
I spotted this raptor flying over Dibbemane estate near Mysore. Tried to chase him, but he was in the mood to climb higher.

KokkarebeLLur
Kokkarebellur is a magical place. Every September this village is visited by a sizable population of Pelicans and Painted Storks who roost on the trees within this village. It's heartwarmingly bizarre that they prefer to nest inside the village and not anywhere outside. Humans and birds have established a relationship that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Here are the poster boys of this unique ecosystem- Painted Stork and Spot-billed Pelican, both classified as "Near Threatened".
77. Painted Stork (Mycteria leucocephala)
78. Spot-billed Pelican (Pelecanus philippensis)
79. Black Ibis (Pseudibis papillosa)
Original updated by a picture shot near Channapatna
A raptor that ought to have been in this list a long time ago
80. Black Kite (Milvus migrans)
Black kite in flight
81. Blue-tailed Bee-eater (Merops philippinus): Winter visitor to the sub-continent, seemed very wary and shy unlike the green bee-eater.
82. Wood Sandpiper (Tringa glareola)
83.Indian BushLark (Mirafra erythroptera)
84.Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica): Probably the most widespread of the swallows. Once again, I'm resigned about ever photographing a swallow that's NOT perched on a wire.
Replaced that with a photo taken in Sri Lanka
Here are some small birds
85.Clamorous Reed-warbler (Acrocephalus stentoreus)
86. Purple-rumped Sunbird (Leptocoma zeylonica)
(Replaced with a snap from Chikmagalur)
87. White-rumped Munia (Lonchura striata)
88. Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla flava)
89. Unidentified
